Bluetooth devices in Compaq 8000 Elite
As most of the Compaq PCs, Compaq 8000 Elite has common Bluetooth modules that support different Bluetooth devices. Bluetooth Stack COM Server is a program that runs in the start up and used by the computer to communicate with Bluetooth devices. The Bluetooth Support Server is also used to support Bluetooth devices. Bluetooth Tray Application allows connection of wireless devices such as other computers, mobile devices, printers, mouse, keyboard, headsets, speakers and cameras. The Bluetooth Headset Skype Proxy module is used to allow programs to connect to Bluetooth headset. All of these modules are available as standard packages with the factory installation of Compaq 8000 Elite.
Drivers of Bluetooth devices
Compaq 8000 Elite requires few numbers of drivers that should be specific to the Bluetooth modules and vendor specific Bluetooth devices. However, most of the devices are supported by the standard modules that is delivered with Compaq 8000 Elite. If any Bluetooth device requires a special driver installation, the driver software should be installed separately. The driver should be delivered by the vendor with the Bluetooth device. Before installing any third-party Bluetooth device drivers, user should take care of checking compatibility such as whether the installed OS version is supported by the specific Bluetooth device driver or not. All the system specific drivers are installed from the factory with Compaq 8000 Elite.
Common issues of Bluetooth devices in Compaq 8000 Elite are device not detected, automatically starting Windows boot and driver failures. If a Bluetooth device is not detected, it may caused by either a hardware failure or software issue. Software issues could be tolerated by reinstalling the Bluetooth software if it is available from the vendor. If the issue is due to a Bluetooth driver, it would be better to remove the device from Device manager and reinstall the same. Some Bluetooth modules are automatically loaded during the start up in Compaq 8000 Elite. This may cause some problem, such as slowing down the start-up process as well as annoying messages when some connected devices are not available or not detected. It could be resolved using System Configuration to prevent programs from launching at the start-up or removing the program icon from the start-up folder if it is a third-party module.
