You will have to keep your system up-to-date for increasing the system performance and durability. In order to achieve this you need to activate, register and configure the operating system. By registration, you would be able to receive the latest updates and applications from Microsoft. You need to activate Windows 7 within the time limit of 30 days. If you fail to do so in the required time limit, it would automatically disable some Windows features. It might prevent you from utilizing all the properties of Windows 7.
