Allow basic connectivity
You should ensure that all the computers are having the same protocol installed. Verify whether the IP address on the same network adaptor is in the same range. For testing the connectivity of two computers use the Ping IP or computer name. Use remote network to find out the network drive if you are not seeing a network driver. Check out for virus infection if you are still having problems to solve network connections.
Troubleshoot browser issues
The problem of browsing and NetBIOS is caused due to installation of multi-home server. It is not recommended to setup multi-home server as a domain controller. It will not be able to retrieve a list of servers from browser master. If you have only one server as domain controller and router with two NIC, you may unbind WINS client. This will unbind the NetBIOS and workstation. Thus, you can fix the issues. To unbind the WINS client you have to go to control panel and double click the network. Then click the binding tab and select adapter in binding tab.
If there are more than one computer in a workstation which do not have a protocol, common username and password then you can have problem of network connection. So, ensure that all the computers in the workgroup should be in a common network protocol, a common username and password. Then you can solve the network connectivity problems.
