HP plans to merge Printers with PCs
HP has come with a latest proposition to combine its two of the most demanding groups, PC and printers, as one in a sweeping reorganization. Though the idea had been running in the mills for quite some time; the company is soon expected to come with an official announcement.
The combination is expected to be headed by Todd Bradley, the current PC chief; and the chief of printing division Vyomesh Joshi may step down. The move has been thought over to pace up the demand of both the PC and printing divisions of HP. While the Personal System Group of HP is the biggest in bringing revenues, the Imaging and Printing Division is claimed to be most profitable. The reorganization is expected to merge and bring larger number of sales.
Economically, the merger is expected to give a boost to the profit margins of the company. The final outcomes are yet to be seen, but this is definitely going to be a researchable topic of many organizations in the coming future.
