HP has a new release, which we are sure, is going to create a buzz among its users. It has released an all-in-one desktop. The best news about it is that, it is 3D-enabled. Now, if you want to watch the movie ‘Avatar’ and its special effects, you can happily watch it on this 3D desktop. This HP desktop has an inbuilt webcam that can shoot 3D images and videos. So, for all those who have the bug to shoot and click all the way, you can go for this desktop and inspire the artist in you. This newly released desktop is modeled after the earlier released 620 model of HP. It has 23 inches touchscreen that can be tilted. The screen offers a 4ms response time and 250 nits brightness. Its contrast ratio is 1,000: 1.
The specifications of this 3D-enabled desktop from HP are:
1) It is built with Intel Second Generation Core i5 2400 processor at 3.10GHz, 8 GB of RAM, and a 1.5TB SATA hard drive.
2) It is powered by software from TriDef and a discrete AMD Radeon HD 6650 graphics card, which can be upgraded to a Radeon HD 6670.
3) It consists of a Blu-ray player, headphone/mic ports, wireless keyboard and mouse, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, seven USB 2.0 ports, IR blaster, a pair of 3D active shutter glasses, 6-in-1 memory card reader, an HP Media Center remote and GbE LAN, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, and Beats Audio.
Though priced at US$ 1,800, it is not exactly cheap. But for a 3D display, this desktop seems to be a good pick. However, it’s for the user to decide at the end of the day, to grab it or not.
