HP has launched a new line of cost-saving printers for Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs), which are equipped with enhanced features. The launch happened during the Macworld iWorld event that was held in San Francisco from January 26—28. Now, small industries can choose from a wide range of HP LaserJet printers, which will be shipped out to the United States in February. The multi-function printers (MFPs) promise to offer good-quality printouts and high-printing speed at a low price.
The new printers unveiled by HP for SMBs are as follows:
1. HP LaserJet Pro 400 color M451 printer
2. HP LaserJet Pro 300 color MFP M375 printer
3. HP LaserJet Pro 400 color MFP M475 printer
All the three printers are equipped with the e-print feature, which increases the mobility of a printing device. With this feature, users can take printouts almost wherever their work takes them. These printers support Apple devices equipped with iOS 4.2, which means users can also print documents from their iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch by connecting their devices to the printer through Wi-Fi. HP announced that the multi-function printers, M375 and M475, can also print HP business apps from the company website. The prices of the color printers have not been revealed yet.
"As part of the HP LaserJet beta customer program, the HP LaserJet Pro 400 color MFP M475 is now our go-to office printer because it's quick, quiet and gives us the ability to create a full range of colorful marketing materials for our company. It's a game changer for us, as its amazing print speeds and feature set have increased productivity, while the ability to create external documents in-house has saved us a significant amount of money that would have otherwise been spent on outside vendors," said Donna Fox, an HP beta reference and vice president of Fox Land Surveys.
